Please note that this A2435 iPad Pro 11-Inch (4th Gen) is compatible with 5G NR, specifically bands n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n14, n20, n25, n26, n28, n29, n30, n38, n40, n41, n48, n66, n70, n71, n77, n78, and n79 and 5G NR mmWave — bands n258, n260, and n261 — in the United States. It will operate with carriers worldwide, though.
The iPad Pro 11-Inch (Wi-Fi/Cellular United States – 4th Gen) features a fully-laminated, antireflective 11″ LED-backlit 2388×1668 “Liquid Retina” display (264 ppi, 600 nits) surrounded by a thin black bezel and packed in a slim case with rounded corners and flat sides. The back is offered in either silver or a darker “Space Gray” color.
This iPad Pro is powered by a 3.49 GHz Apple M2 processor with 8 cores (4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores), a 10-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, and 100 GB/s of memory bandwidth. If configured with 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB of storage, it is equipped with 8 GB of onboard RAM. If it is configured with 1 TB or 2 TB of storage, it is equipped with 16 GB of onboard RAM. It has a Thunderbolt / USB 4 port.
Like their predecessors, the iPad Pro 11″ (4th Gen) models also support LiDAR, external keyboards and trackpads, and the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen (A2051, MU8F2AM/A, US$129) that charges via a magnetic connection on the side of the device, but the Apple Pencil adds a new “Hover” feature that spotlights where the pencil will land before touching the surface.
Also like its predecessor, the iPad Pro 11″ (4th Gen) models have a front mounted 12 megapixel “TrueDepth” camera that shoots 1080p video and supports the “Center Stage” feature that automatically pans and zooms to keep subjects in frame. It supports “Face ID” authentication, too. It has a dual rear camera “system” with a 12 megapixel wide angle and 10 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens.
In addition to Thunderbolt / USB 4, other connectivity includes simultaneous dual-band 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6E) with 2×2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.3. It has five microphones and a four speaker system, too.
The battery life of this iPad Pro model is reportedly 10 hours “surfing the web on Wi-Fi or watching video” or 9 hours “surfing the web using cellular data.” This model has a software-based eSIM that can be used to switch between some carriers as well as a nano SIM slot to use “traditional” SIM cards.
Compared to its predecessor, the iPad Pro 11-Inch (Wi-Fi/Cellular United States – 4th Gen) — and its siblings — are the same physical size and have the same display and cameras, but have a faster processor and architecture, faster Wi-Fi, more advanced Bluetooth, and ProRes video capture, in addition to the aforementioned Apple Pencil “Hover” feature.
