The Apple Mac mini “M2 Pro” 12-Core CPU/19-Core GPU (2023) technically is a “configure-to-order” configuration of the Mac mini “M2 Pro” 10-Core CPU/16-Core GPU (2023), but also is documented as a separate model for reader convenience. Compared to the standard model, this custom configuration has a different CPU/GPU combo, but it otherwise could be configured identically.
The Apple Mac mini “M2 Pro” 12-Core CPU/19-Core GPU (2023) model features a 5-nm 3.49 GHz Apple M2 Pro processor with 12 cores (8 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores), a 19-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, 16 GB of onboard RAM, and a 512 GB onboard SSD. Both the RAM and the SSD could be custom configured with higher end options at the time of initial system purchase, but not upgraded subsequently.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.3, four Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB-C connector), two USB-A ports (up to 5Gb/s), an HDMI 2.1 port, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Compared to its predecessor, this model looks nearly identical, but it uses a faster internal architecture and has improved connectivity.
All Mac mini systems are configured by default without a display, keyboard, or mouse, but numerous Apple and third-party options are available.
